  • Digestive/Gastrointestinal: 
    • used to treat canker sores
    • gas
    • indigestion
    • nausea/vomiting
    • anorexia.
  • Integumentary/Skin:
    • insect bites
    • burns.
  • Skeletal:
    • arthritis pain.
  • Muscular:
    • muscle rub for relaxation and pain.
  • Nervous:
    • headaches
    • mild depression
    • insomnia
    • anxiety.
  • Immune:
    • anti-fungal
    • antibacterial
    • disinfectant.
  • Other:
    • used with tea tree oil for lice treatment.

Common doses and preparation: Used in soaps, perfumes, cosmetics, aromatherapy, as a tea, oil, tincture.   Can be added to foods with recipes using floral flavor.  Tastes peppery and floral. Often combined with fruit flavor. 

Side Effects/Precautions/Interactions: Safety not established with use in pregnancy, lactation, and children.  Not recommended if you are taking medicines for high blood pressure or sedatives.
