- Urinary: Oil has been used for urinary retention (placed in toilet or near perineum).
- Nervous: May improve mental clarity. Has been used for fever, headaches, migraines, stress, and anxiety.
- Immune: Used for colds
- Male/Female Reproductive: Has been used for menstrual cramps.
- Other: Used as an ant repellant.

Common doses and preparation: Used in toothpastes, mouthwashes, teas, water, smoothies, sauces, meat dishes, tincture, and oil. Pairs with rose and lemon balm. Make a vinegar mix to keep ants out of your kitchen. Has been added to water on a hot day to try to cool down.
Side Effects/Precautions/Interactions: Caution with hiatal hernia and acute gallstones. Do not use oil on your skin without a carrier oil.
